I'm Steven Attwell, a 22-year-old professional video editor based in North-West London. I have a passion for creating quality media content distributed online and on TV. In alignment with this interest, I completed a BA Television Production degree at the University of Westminster, in which I achieved First Class Honours. Additionally, I am also working towards Genuine Avid and Apple certifications in Media Composer and Final Cut Pro X. During my career I have worked with the likes of FIFA, NFL, BBC's Robot Wars and The Sun Newspaper. This has given me valuable experience creating world-class content for some of the world's biggest clients.
My specific interests lie in Drama and Comedy programming, of which I have been a scriptwriter, cameraman, editor and even presenter. This work is available to watch in my showreel, along with a variety of other productions I have been apart of inside and outside of University.
I am confident, motivated and ready to flourish in the television and film industry. Having been inspired by former colleagues, I am ready to take on bigger and better challenges in order to further my skills and bolster my ever-growing portfolio.

The Sun Newspaper
Online Sub-editor
During my time at this national newspaper I worked on both website and smartphone departments, distributing quality media content via the company's popular online platforms. This included managing the newspaper's mobile application and publishing articles, images and videos for millions of readers to enjoy.

Sound Technician
I was able to realise my potential in the media industry at Smoke TV, a student-led production team supported by University of Westminster. Here I helped record sound on multiple shoots. These generally covered topical subjects and were made available via Smoke TV's website and other online profiles.

In order to satisfy my love for comedy, I joined YouTube Channel Laybach Entertainment. We created light-hearted sketches targeted at a young audience. I did the vast majority of camerawork and editing for what was a short but sweet period of online recognition.

BBC - Robot Wars
Extra
I appeared twice as an extra for the rebooted series of this childhood favourite. During this time I was able to talk to many industry professionals and see how a production of that size is made. I was also apart of the audience during all three of the new series.

Me and a small team were commissioned to produce a short promotional piece for 'Doctors Without Borders'. This involved filming and editing footage taken at their London office. The piece was then globally distributed through their online feeds

Work Experience
Here I shaddowed professionals within the banking sector, experiencing what it is like to work in a high-pressure environment. This gave me the skills to deal with similar scenarios on shoots and within TV studios. During my time at VocaLink, I pioneered a video campaign that helped introduce new employees to the company.

I currently work at Seven League, a leading digital sports agency based in Angel. While I specifically edit videos for FIFA's Fan Movement initiative, I have also worked closely with the NFL, creating content to supplement the launch of their new NFL Academy. My content regularly reaches up 60 million people and helps large sports companies connect with their fans on a much more personal level.
